TECHNICAL DETAILS

• The basic model has no ejector, as most shooters now recover their empties by hand

• An inertia ejector equipped (C.G design) bolt can be supplied - optional

• Recoil lug bearing in a slot in the receiver body, and secured by three screws and the bedding screw hole threaded throgh both recoil lug and receiver. This recoil lug is therefore easily removable if an alternativer recoil control method is envisaged.

• All the essential functions of bolt locking and primary extraction are performed at the front of the bolt by the bolt lugs themselves.

• A permanently fixed insert of high specification alloy, treated to tight specifications and tolerances ensures all the functions.

• Barrel is centered by TWO register shoulders registering with virtually no clearance in the corresponding bores of the receiver - one ahead of the threads, and one behind. Thus the barrel threads have the single function securing the barrel to the receiver.

RECEIVER

The receiver or action body, is made of pre heat treated steel. As no heat treatment is needed after machining, the receiver cannot warp or distort at all. This also ensures better resistance to resonance.
