Luminous airy apartment, tranquil settings

Apartment reference 74A is bright and modern in a small secure development in quiet residential quarter of Antibes. Antibes is a fascinating Roman-Greek town with an old and a modern quarter, situated between Nice and Cannes. The Cote D'Azur has in excess of three hundred days of sun each year so this is really an all year round holiday area. Antibes has much of interest to keep the tourist happy with its cobbled streets and the port area with its fantastic yachts

The Old Town, Port Vauban and the beach are within walking distance of the apartment - 10/15 minutes at most. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by or have a meal. You are certain to find a selection to meet your individual tastes and purse. It's fascinating to walk around Port Vauban and admire the fantastic yachts berthed there some with their own helipads and hot tubs on deck. There is much to keep you occupied in Antibes, but if you do want to do a bit of exploring Antibes is ideally placed for touring the rest of the Cote D'Azur - public transport is excellent. It is a short stroll from the apartment to the train or bus station from where you can travel up the coast towards Monaco and into Italy or down the coast towards St Tropez and Marseille.

Bedroom notes: Two good size bedrooms with two single beds in each, which offers flexibility of sleeping accommodation. Each bedroom has matching bedside lockers, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Quality bed linen and towels are provided also. There is also a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge.

Entertainment: audio tape player, cd, DVD, radio, tv

Outside: balcony, parking, 2 garden chairs

Suitability: children welcome; unsuitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair inaccessible

Local Activities: cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing

Notes: The apartment is on the first floor of this three storey apartment block. There is no lift and therefore a flight of stairs has to be negotiated making it unsuitable for those who have difficulty with stairs.
